AccuVend is a unique feature of SAM electronic tables that eliminates the retention of the last ball. The consequences of a pool table only partially dispensing balls can be significant, leading to vandalism, player refunds, increased staff workload, and overall dissatisfaction. These issues can impact revenue and the table's viability in the venue. By allowing players to re-vend the balls if one remains in the tray, SAM AccuVend ensures customer satisfaction and consistent income.

 

Standard Electronic – Samik 4 provides you with multicoin acceptance, AccuVend, play for game or for time period, and token play using the SAM Token. Great for promotions and league nights ensuring free games can be properly controlled and accounted for.

 

TriBand – Samik 3 offers you all the features of the standard system but with an added programmable variable pricing schedule. This allows for game, time, and freeplay options across different daily and weekly time zones. Customize play pricing to match the business week, offering discounted or free pool during slow periods to boost foot traffic and drink sales, and premium pricing during peak times when players are less price-sensitive.

  • The top frame lifts back on a gas strut for added safety.
  • Setax bedcloths, Velcro fit cloths that mean that with a new set of covered ProActive cushions one engineer, with no specialist clothing experience, can recloth a table on their own in a fraction of the time a traditional recloth takes.
  • The pocket liners are long lasting, tough moulded vinyl, screwed in place, not pinned.
  • The aluminium top rail is bolted together to reduce movement and wear.
  • No less than 12 top frame clamps secure the top delivering great security and an even playing field.
  • The steel cash door is separate to the ball door restricting staff access and providing greater security. Optional steel plate over doors and chrome security bars are available.
  • Mechanical coin meters are complemented by non-resettable meters on both electronic MPUs for double checks on cash collections.
  • SAM ball doors are secured by a single key, no need for two keys and a metre of chain in every engineer’s pocket!

Technical Features

American Style

Big 57mm balls and big pockets make this a potting game. American pool tables use a fast, nylon blend cloth and the ball to pocket ratio makes blocking difficult.

ProActive Cushion system

Our SAM pool tables are equipped with fully aluminum-extruded top frames. All top frame components are bolted metal-to-metal, minimizing movement and wear, and ensuring a precise fit to the cabinet. The brilliance of the ProActive system lies in its cushion fit. Cushions are contoured to match the aluminum top and secured with a full-length plate. Standard 10mm bolts fit perfectly into the extrusion, providing uniform cushion response along the entire length. The straightforward fitting process requires no special tools. Top players have likened the ball response achieved to that of a steel block snooker table. ProActive cushions provide the most accurate and consistent cushion response ever achieved on any single piece slate pool table and will delight seasoned players of UK 8 ball and 9 ball American pool devotees.

Cabinet Strength

SAM tables are constructed from plywood, offering exceptional strength and durability without unnecessary weight. Plywood is less prone to moisture damage, easier to repair if damaged, and more resilient at joints and fixings compared to the more commonly used MDF.

Slate Bed

Nothing compares to slate for achieving a perfectly level playing surface. This natural material, sourced from the world's great mountain ranges, is meticulously diamond-honed by SAM. It is stored and prepared under ideal conditions to ensure flawless leveling upon installation.

Easy To Level

This table is a piece of cake to level with just a 13mm open ended spanner. No lifting of the table required at all so no help required and greater accuracy can be achieved with your spirit level.

Delivery/Installation

Free delivery to UK mainland. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to central Scotland, the Highlands and Islands, Cornwall, and West Wales.

Delivery
Once your table is ready, we will contact you via email to arrange a suitable delivery date.

Installation
Our skilled courier and installation team will deliver your pool table to the ground floor of your property.

The table will then be installed and professionally leveled. If you require the pool table to be installed above or below ground, this can be done for an additional charge.

We advise you to check that the table can fit in your property and ensure that access to your chosen room is free from obstructions.

Difficult access doesn’t necessarily mean we cannot install, but we may have to recommend a different table or flat-pack and reassemble it once it is in the room. If you think this applies to your property, please contact us so we can discuss and advise on the best course of action.
